Erie, the city where this takes place, is 96 miles from Buffalo, 102 from Cleveland, 128 from Pittsburgh, and a whopping 421 miles from Philadelphia. They've got Bills/Sabres fans, Indians/Browns/Cavaliers fans, and Pirates/Steelers/Penguins fans. But not too many Phillies/Eagles/76ers/Flyers fans. In fact, Erie is 196 miles from Toronto. It's far closer to Canada than to Philly! I guess "Hockey Mom" got confused.
